A SIMPLE IDEA
A Place for Travelers, by Travelers
Troncones Point Hostel started with a simple idea: give access to everyone. From the beginning, we wanted a range of rooms — an affordable shared dorm, comfortable private rooms, and higher-end private rooms — so more people could experience Troncones, no matter their budget.It’s a place created by travelers, for travelers, inspired by years of backpacking and the people, places and experiences that made us fall in love with this way of life.

Here, people who might never meet in everyday life — a 20-year-old and a 60-year-old — can sit at the same table, share a meal and talk all night as if they were the best of friends. That’s what makes our hostel special.

The Palapa
The palapa is the heart of Troncones Point — where most of the magic happens. It’s a place to cook, eat, share travel stories, plan the day and meet new friends.
Whether you’re here for a few nights or a few months, you can be as social as you like — and when you want some quiet time, you can retreat to your own room, a hammock or a peaceful corner of the property.

Troncones is a small beach village with golden sand, a rocky coastline and breathtaking sunsets. It’s relatively undeveloped and has a relaxed, authentic Mexican vibe that makes it so special.
The beach is just a short walk away, right across the road. You can spend your days swimming, walking the beach, enjoying local restaurants or simply relaxing under the sun.
